About Us

I was first introduced to Jiu Jitsu by a very close friend of mine so close I call him family, a brother! I would have never thought after stepping on the mats that very first day that i would become a part of something so much more than myself, a bond created with hard work, dedication and not to forget failure.

Believe it or not but that very first day of training changed me. I was obsessed with BJJ, I had the drive to learn, to struggle and to fail but even though I failed I was not willing to give up and wanted to be better, all i had to do was put the work in, the time, the blood, the sweat and tears.

Everything in Jiu jitsu is EARNT and worn with PRIDE. Which is why I wanted to start a company that holds pride at the forefront of its core values. Something that is affordable to everyone but still maintains a high quality standard. Something that would be proud to step on to the mats with.

We are a brand that has spent the time finding high quality materials from trusted sources. We have tested our products ourselves and in our own circles, ensuring everything we sell is of the highest standard and meets the needs of the jiu jitsu community.

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience this beautiful sport for themselves but like many sports, the kit and tuition fees can be out of reach for many.

We aim to support those struggling to into jiu jitsu with our own inhouse charity BEEcharitable.

We know how much the jiu jitsu community can impact someone and we want to share this feeling with as many people as we can.

We chose a bee as our name and logo to symbolise dedication, hard work and team work - all of which are important for jiu jitsu. Also largely a solo sport, the support and team work in the community is something that sets jiu jitsu apart. Renowned for being humble and valuing good sportsmanship, every good club works like a hive, bringing people together working towards a common goal - bettering themselves.

Before discovering jiu jitsu I spent most of my time in the gym. For the extra bit of motivation I had written "1 more" inside the peak of my cap, and I wanted to incorporate that into our brand. We have written "BEE UNSTOPPABLE" inside the lapel on our Gis to give anyone wearing our brand that reminder to train harder and push themselves further.
